CrossFit’s main goal is to improve an athlete’s General Physical Preparedness. We want to make you ready for whatever life throws at you. Below are the 10 areas we work to get better at everyday.

ENDURANCE

The ability of the body’s systems to gather, process, and transport oxygen.

STAMINA

The ability of the body to process, store, deliver, and utilize energy.

STRENGTH

The ability of a muscular unit, or combination of muscular units to apply force.

FLEXIBILITY

The ability of maximizing the range of motion at a given joint.

POWER

The ability of a muscular unit, or combination of muscular units, to apply maximum force in minimum time

SPEED

The ability to minimize the time cycle of a repeated movement.

COORDINATION

The ability to combine several distinct movement patterns into a singular distinct movement.

AGILITY

The ability to minimize transition time from one movement pattern to another.

Accuracy

The ability to control movement in a given direction or at a given intensity.

BALANCE

The ability to control the placement of the bodies center of gravity in relation to its support base.

CrossFit is the most effective physical fitness program in the world and it is our passion to bring it to as many people as possible. Athletes at CrossFit Mt Juliet will get personal attention as every athlete’s needs are different. We will work with you to help you to achieve your individual goals. That being said, the community that we create will be one of the driving factors in your individual success. We are not focused on developing the next CrossFit Games winner, although we are sure to have our fair share of fire-breathers. We are focused on making people’s lives better by enhancing their fitness. So, whether you are already fit and looking to take it to the next level, or if your fitness has lapsed and you want to get it back, CrossFit Mt Juliet can help you get there. The best part about it is that while you are working hard to improve yourself, you will also be having fun and developing strong, lasting friendships.
